Class of '30

David played a very important role during my two years at Northwood School. He was someone I could always go to for support and guidance, especially when I was trying to balance school, soccer, and planning for college.

He helped me better understand the college process and what I needed to do academically to prepare for the next step. He also guided me through the application process, including keeping me organized, helping with deadlines, and making sure I understood each part of the application.

What I appreciated most was that David took the time to get to know me as a student and as a person. He was always approachable, honest, and willing to help. His support made the college process feel much less stressful, and he played a significant part in helping me move forward to James Madison University.

When it was my first week at Northwood I was only 15 years old and David invited me and all the new soccer players to his house to sharing a lovely meal, to make us all feel welcome. He was someone who was more than a college advisor, he was a genuine human being.

I am very thankful for everything he did for me during my time at Northwood.

Sincerely,

Ashton Khory
